Titanium
Titanium G23 is 100% nickel-free and perfectly suited to allergic people. This material is primarily used for medical implants in the EU and Switzerland, being exclusively used in bone screw surgery and artificial joints, among others. Other positive features: light weight (just ca. 50% of surgery steel) and minimum warmth conduction capabilities (hence more comfortable to wear in hot or cold days). Titanium is suitable for first-time piercing wearing. Should you order a piercing article to be worn for the first time, we strongly recommend that this gets sterilised by means of an autoclave in a professional piercing studio beforehand.

Zirconia
The Zirconia (formula: ZrO2, Zirconiumdioxide) is synthetic replacement for the diamond. Its sharpness is almost as high (8.5 as opposed to 10), which also makes it hardly endangered against damages. However, it may be used to scratch to pieces something else very easily. The zirconia can be obtained in different colours and levels of transparency. It is normally cut in faces (in the same way as glass).
